David M. Hammer
David M. Hammer was born August 1, 1963. David M. Attorney Hammer received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Temple University. He graduated from the Marshall Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1988. After a four year stint as an associate at a large defense firm where he practiced in the area of labor and employment law, Mr. Hammer and his partners founded Hammer, Ferretti & Schiavoni in 1992 where he served as managing partner from 1992 through 1996. Mr. Hammer limits his practice primarily to employment discrimination and wage issues representing mostly plaintiffs but will, on occasion, represent management. He has lectured on various topics including handicap discrimination, race and gender discrimination, and sexual harassment.
Mr. Hammer is a member of the West Virginia Bar Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association, and is a member of the Amicus Curiae Committee of the West Virginia Employment Lawyers Association.
An avid bicyclist and hiker, Mr. Hammer actively supports various local conservation and land preservation organizations.
