We represent class action cases for plaintiffs involving wage and hour disputes, and in cases of employment discrimination. Our law firm is one of the few in this area practicing plaintiff employment law, and we are deeply committed to it. As counsel for Kmart employees, for example, we won a settlement in a class action lawsuit involving the company’s misrepresentation of its worth as it affected employee benefits. We frequently represent plaintiffs in matters of late or unpaid wages, overtime claims, serious workplace injury, sexual harassment, disability discrimination, and job discrimination related to race, age, or gender.

We defend whistle blowers in cases involving government waste or fraud, such as a recent case in which a nursing home was over-billing the government for its services, and the whistle blower was fired for reporting this infringement. Under the False Claims Act, anyone who comes forward with knowledge of fraud against the U.S. government is protected from retaliation. The Act allows for an action in federal court against anyone filing false claims or defrauding the government, and we actively litigate such cases to protect the employee’s rights.
